VOLUNTEER HOUSTON Invites You to Help Us Touch the Lives of Deserving Children this Holiday Season by donating $25 to sponsor a child with A Visit From Saint Nicholas. For each $25 donation we’ll help you honor someone special in your life by sending him or her a holiday card acknowledging the gift that was made in his or her honor.
For 25 years, Visit From Saint Nicholas has brought holiday cheer to thousands of disadvantaged children in pre-kindergarten through 2nd grade in Houston and Bay Area schools. This year 10,000 children will receive a backpack filled with toys and books. For many, this is the only holiday gift they will receive. Hundreds of community volunteers play the role of Saint Nicholas by filling backpacks, secretly decorating classrooms and placing a backpack on each desk.
