Hands
On Houston Caring Employees
A recent study by the Center for Corporate Citizenship at Boston College
indicates that while 82% of CEOs know that employee community involvement is
important, most don’t have the time to support a quality internal program.
That’s where we come in. Hands On Houston knows that your time is money, so
we’ve built a unique service model that allows your company and its employees to
get involved, save valuable resources and make a meaningful contribution.
Hands On Houston has over 30 years of experience in planning and executing
volunteer projects. We partner with many companies, helping them to effectively
conduct employee teambuilding and volunteer events. Allowing us to manage the
details on your behalf puts our project and volunteer expertise to work for you,
saving your company both time and money.
Often times, the biggest challenge in planning a group volunteer project is
finding an agency that can accommodate larger groups of volunteers. With over
600 agency relationships, Hands on Houston is uniquely positioned to find the
best volunteer opportunity that both meets the needs of the company and the
community.
Under this program, we will develop and manage a tailored custom project for
your company that meets your specific goals and requirements. Tailoring your
project allows you to decide which part or parts of this process are of interest
to you. We handle all the details so your employees can get to the heart of what
matters- volunteering! Hands On Houston Caring Employees is a fee for service
initiative that addresses the entire process of volunteering, from project
selection to tool and materials procurement to training and issue education (see
list below). The fee structure for these services varies for each individual
project depending on the size of the project and the number of volunteers to be
included.
